Boater education card

South Carolina's proof of passing an approved course: required for operators born after July 1, 2007.

The card says you passed a NASBLA approved boating safety course, and South Carolina requires it of anyone born after July 1, 2007 who operates a boat or PWC of 10 horsepower or more, carried on the water, shown at an SCDNR stop. The rule has been in force since August 18, 2023.
